Michigan Meet

Hey all I am from the cobaltss.com forum. Some of you have heard me say that I am getting people together to do a meet of sorts. Mostly I have talked to ss/sc and srt - 4 owners but I seemed to forget my redline friends. Sorry about that I just consider our vehicle to be the same and never really think twice about it. Soooo If any of you would like send me an email with your name, number, forum id, and type of car. I would say pm me but I don't check these forums much. In a month or so I will give you a call and we can all work out what day works out the best for everyone. The meet would be on a Saturday. My idea was that we can all meet on Telegraph there is a huge parking lot over here that no one uses. We could bullshit for a little while and then head out for breakfast. After we all get filled up we could take a drive to the Milan dragway 40 mins from here and run our cars. From Milan we could then take a cruise ( this would probably be at night ) To me I think it would be pretty sweet if we could get 20 ss/sc's, srt - 4's, and redlines cruising at once. Meet some new people. Trade some secrets and bond with fellow performance enthusiasts. Even if you don't know anything about your car who cares all are welcome. If there are any female drivers out there I urge you to come. I know a crowd of testosterone and fast cars is kind of a scary thought but the girls should definately represent. Just do it in your bathing suit

It is running great. The pulley has caused me no issues and I don't really forsee it doing so. What sz are you running now ?

Well unfortunately that day the track cannot be rented. The people at Milan have emailed me back good news is this.

May 13 there is bracket racing and open test and tune from 12-?...So anyone can come in and test for $20. Saturday’s are not generally overly swamped so it would probably work for your group. Friday nights are also test and tune and street races.

Now it would be sweet to be under the lights but it wouldn't work for the way I want this to go down. We could move it another date but 20 something people have already agreed to this day so I would not want to do it.

As for refund you would definately get your money back if it rained. The $250 is a deposit so I would imagine if you can't run down the track you would get your money back.

I can't belive there isn't more interest from the SE Michigan guys. It is kind of a long way off so maybe there will be more interest closer to the date.

This thing is getting pretty big. I may change the meeting location to where my office is. Our parking lot is huge and we don't have very many people working on Sat. We will see. This is going to be great.
