Oil pressure and A/F gauge install

Some of you might recognize my handle from other saturn boards, and yes I did buy a 04 redline...........doing some mods nothing as big as my 00SL1 showcar (which is getting gutted and rebuilt again).

Anyways, like the title says, I installed boost, a/f and oil pressure guages in a custom fibreglass guage pod that is mounted on my steering colum. I got the boost hooked up easy, but I ran into 4 wires on the 02 sensor, I know that one is ground, I believe that 2 are heater wires, that leaves the sensor wire, I just don't know which colour I need to be tapping into.

Also for the oil pressure sender unit, I read on the board somebody said that there was a plug int he back of the motor that is threaded, is this true? cause I know that you can't get a m12x1.75mm Tee fitting to use the stock switch and a sender unit.

I believe if you follow the O2 sensor harness back to the actual car harness that it plugs in to, you'll find a purple wire on the car side of the harness. That's the wire you want... Somewhere around here is a thread that has an small jumper that plugs in between the O2 Sensor and the car harness and already has the correct signal wire T'd out from the jumper. You just hook up the wire and you're good to go without altering the factory wiring.

Don't remember where I saw that... And I can't help you with the Oil Pressure at all... The only person I know of on here that has an Oil Pressure Gauge got the pickup unit installed by the dealer. ??
