RL, best car ever???

This past weekend I took a trip up to the University of Central Florida for a game my school (Florida Atlantic University) had against them in my RL. It is about a 400 mile trip each way and I went up Friday and came back Sunday morning. I got lost a bunch of times (im horrible with directions) and eventually made it up there safe and sound. The entire trip up there was a breeze and its almost like the car sensed I was on a long trip and I got the best gas milage I ever have in my car. I cruised at about 80mph the whole way with a couple quick sprints up to some high speeds but I got 270 to the first tank and 275 to my last tank on the way back. The car ride including the seats, engine noise, road noise, overall comfort and easy of ride was above and beyond on any car I've ever been in, this are including porsches. I had plenty of space for all my equipment and drinks and food so I wouldnt have to stop with easy access to everything around me and spots to put stuff securely that I never saw before. Overall my opinion is that even though some people have problems with these cars, if you have a dealership with techs that know what they're doing and you take good car of your car then it in turn will never let you down. I met a guy up there with the same car as me who actually was the ref for my game (imagine the odds, blue 04 ion RL). He was trying to lemon law his for start issues and cruise control problem, but I think the dealerships around him are just incompitent. Anyway heres a pic of my interceptor on one of my few high speed runs. This is on a stock pulley, so I dont understand how I got this much boost? Probaly cuz my air temp 2 was about 39 degrees, which was awsome. Finally report: Saturn Ion Redline: BEST.CAR.EVER!!!

HA your a closet moron. Best car ever thats an opinion if I ever saw one. Have you ever been in a car with 500hp? How bout a car that is awd with a full suspension upgrade and take it through the twisties at double the speed limits?

Nice speed you got there too. Wanna race?

Yeah but that 500hp car isnt as easy to drive and isnt as whisper quiet doesnt get as good gas mileage as my RL was during that trip. And I'm talking about a pretty much stock car not any kind of tuned car. Anyway Saturns rock, and no thats no an opinion

im gonna get a pic of my interceptor at 150mph but I got to send it back cuz its being funny but when I get it back and I get my stage and pulley I'm gonna do it. But most likely this weekend I will cuz I have another game over on the west coast of FL against Florida Gulf Coast University.

Obviously you have never been in a car that has more than 210 HP if you think a Red Line is the best car ever. I can think of 20 cars in a few seconds that are a billion times better than a RL.

:: gets the hook and pulls Alpha off the stage::

I love this car, but there are a lot better cars out there. Would I buy this one again? Certainly but let's not fool ourselves. Oh..and his charger will shut down four cylinders when cruising making his gas mileage equal to or better than ours (I think yours has that lovely feature doesn't it goof?)

Yeah, the Chrysler version of Northstar...

Like others have said, sure the RL is a damn good ride, but it's by no means the best car EVA!!!

It's fun... It's pretty damn quick for what it is... The price point rocks the casbah...

And don't change your friggin premise... You said "BEST.CAR.EVER!!!"

You didn't say shit about how much it cost, or gas mileage being a factor in your decision to rate it against ALL other cars. You said Best car ever... period

I would personally rather have an '07 Mustang Shelby Cobra GT500... Heh, another that will not get my nod as BEST CAR EVER, but DAMN! What a sweet ride that bitch is gonna be!
