Just a thought...

Today was a good Red Line day. Huh? You ask. Let me explain. My Red Line is somewhat stored for the winter. WTF? Who stores a Red Line, it's not a Vette dumbass. I know, I know, but I treat it like one. I hate winter slop and salted roads and, well, I just hate winter. So I put-put around in an old Satty SL1 when the roads are crap, keeping my Red Line shiny and nice. Lately the weather here has been great, 40's and dry, and most of the salt washed off of the roads from rain. Out comes the Red Line. I forget all that I love about this car most of the time when I drive it daily, only focussing on things about it that bug me, but all that I love comes rushing back when I drive it again for the first time in a month. The power, the handling, the sound and feel, hell yeah. And your point is Fineline? Well, the point of all this is simply to pose to everyone that if they are unsettled with issues involving their Red Lines, take it away from yourself for a while if you can. Drive a car that is not as good and see if you don't long for your Red Line, or, drive a car that is better and clear up any doubt. Stage 2 is going to feel so good this spring. Today was a good Red Line day. I have had some bad Red Line days, but today was good. Happy driving Red Liners, peace. -Fineline

I agree 100%. I didnt drive mine for 6 weeks (totally different circumstances) and when I finally did again, was nice to have it back. By the way, I dont recommend doing what I did to take a break from the RL to realize how much you like it. Rear ending someone and doing $8k in damage and taking a rental for 6 weeks is not highly recommended.

Man I feel you Fineline I didnt have my Redline for almost two months when they were doing my clutch/transsmission repair. I got stuck drivng our other cars which are all slow ass trucks! I longed for my car back! I love my car and I feel in love with it all over again once I got it back!

Same here, I had to drive my wifes L200 for a while, now it too is a manual with the 2.4L you can throw it around, it drives nice, has a little get up and go. But it's NOT my RL, I won't say I hate her car, but I like mine better.

I Know the feeling. I have a old '88 S-10 that I drive when it snows. It has some power (V8 in it) but still a lot slower the the redline and with the 31's that are on it, it will beat you to death. Then when I get back in the RL it feals like im riding on a fast cloud. Gota love it!
