Please pray for my grandmother..

I normally don't post a bunch of personal stuff on here 'cause really it's none of your business but this time I really need some help and/or support and feel like a bum asking you guys...so here goes.

Yesterday around 3PM I decided I was thirsty and left my house to go get something to drink..only like three blocks away, but for some reason I didn't stop at the Village Pantry and instead went through their parking lot and back out onto the street, then turned onto my grandma's street. Went down to her house and pulled into her drive..noticed her car was not parked in the garage which is slightly odd for her.. Knocked on the door and didn't get an answer..no "I'm coming" or the sound of a door shutting somewhere else in the house..

Knocked again, but harder (actually beat on the door) and finally I heard what sounded like someone stumbling..she came and opened the door, but barely made it down the steps to do so for me. I hurried inside and asked if she was hurting anywhere and if so where..she said she wasn't hurting, but instead was numb on the entire right side of her body.. I told her I was taking her to the hospital and after arguing with her for a couple of minutes I finally dragged her out to my car and took her there..(she refused to let me call 911 though..bah). It most definitely sounded like a stroke to me, but when I got the hospital they confirmed it.

The bad thing is was that she went numb around 12:00 and I didn't get over there 'till 3:00..she didn't try to call anyone, but instead laid down to rest and see if she'd feel better. This put her outside the window of treatment really... She was able to move her right side yesterday a bit at least, but this morning when I went to visit her she couldn't move her right arm and the right side of her face has a bit of visible droop..plus her speech is slurred..she's actually gotten worse.

If you could just please include her in your prayers..I know you don't know her and more than likely never will, but she's my last grandparent I have left and she means alot to me..I don't know what I would've done had I not gone over there and something had happened to her..

On a side note I recieved a ticket for going through a automated traffic signal (a stop light) when I could've swore it was green and switched yellow as I was IN the intersection, but I didn't really care too much..

My grandfather passed away last Xmas, he raised me all my life. I'm not a religious person, and I don't believe in praying, but I wish all the best for her. All I have left in my family life is my grandmother, and for a year I've been unable to think of anything but her strength when my father passed. Without her, I'd be back to hardcore drugs and feeling numb.

As much as they can be, my 'prayers' are with her...

Thanks for the support guys. I'm not normally one much for prayers or any type of spiritual stuff, but this really has me shaken up and I'm still trying to figure out what drove me over to her house when I was already at the place I was going to..

Shedding a tear on this one...........I don't pray but I'll pray on this one.

I haven't prayed since I lost my sister 31 years, 9 months, and 18 days.

Enough said...

Thanks for the support guys..figured I'd give you an update on this since I told you in the first place. They admitted her and she was in the same room for a couple of nights, but then they sent her to the rehabilitation center thingie (it's a few floors up) so that they could start helping her learn how to live like this. She still stumbles a bit, but atleast can walk now..her speech is slurred just slightly still, but nothing like it was..and she still has no use of her right arm/hand. For the most part though she IS doing better..
