Traded the REDLINE in for a stock chevy cobalt LS

HAHAHAHHAHAHAH JUST KIDDING. But on a serious note I am currently driving a cobalt LS but its a rental curtiousy of saturn. i took my car in for the check engine light coming on. the car was idiling kinda rough and the rmp were fluctuating up and down at an idle. the dealership says that my problem has something to do with my throttle position sensor. has anyone else had this issue or maby similar symptoms. any comments or suggestions any input what so ever.

if i inch forward at a redlight or something. then just let the clutch to the floor. i'll get the car to 'hunt' for an idle for about 5 or 6t times if i blip the throttle it goes away.

Mine does the exact same thing! has done it since day one! I dosn't do it all the time, but kind of often. I'm not too worried about it, seems harmless enough.

Yup, ditto here... not sure why... perhaps it just tries to idle as low as possible? I've watched some of the parameters as it idles, and it's doing more work at idle than at WOT...

My old version of the Interceptor had parameters for it, but I never saw it move. However, plugging into my buddies 2001 Cargo Van, had the IAC counts going all over the place...
