Saturn S Series

I know this is out a little off topic or out of place but I happen to park near an odd looking Saturn the other day. I have actually never really knew about these cars -- I just went down one day and bought an ion sedan back in 04 which led to my redline 14 (anyway). So I notice it has these corvette looking head lights. The shape is like an egg. Wow they made space ships at Saturn back then.

If I was going for another Saturn, I would get the 1994 Saturn S (coupe).

I guess because it flies, no need for more than 84 HP

My wife used to have a 1995 SL1. It was a gutless wonder, but you couldn't kill it.

It drank about a quart of oil per week, but got about 35mpg.

Sold it cheap with 200k on it shortly after I got the Redline. I still see it around.

This was my 95 sl2. I loved that car along with my aunts 02 sc2 and my 06 vue redline.

I had a 99 sl2 and it was my first saturn. Bought it used with 24k miles I mistreated the car and jumped it, wrecked it, overheated it neglected any kind of regular maintenance on the car. Finally had to get rid of it because it wouldn't pass emissions. The car still ran great and the clutch was still good @208k miles and would take about 3/4 of a quart of oil every 2 weeks. I was so impressed with how well it put up with my abuse that I bought an ion 2.2 and a redline later on

My first Saturn was a certified used '94 SC2, and it was 124 HP.

Stage II equipped.

Same here....

I started out with a new '92 SL1, then a '97 SL2, followed by a '97 SC2 (Hotshot Header with catless midpipe, JG Big Bore Throttle Body, Injen Intake and Thermal R&D exhaust).

I bought my wife a 2001 L300 and finally myself my current Red Line.

It breaks my heart there are no new Saturns to buy!

I still drive a 99 Saturn SL2 in the winter when my Redlines are in storage. You can't kill those cars, well not unless you forget to check the oil.
