Ashton Martin is the shit! I would seriously give up my left nut for a AM. I see one here in town every once in awhile. They make me feel all fuzzy inside whenever I see one. OOOHHHHH

That is not enough to buy a AM. Even if I sold both I still could not afford one. I would probabaly need to hang onto atleast one anyway. I guess I have a kidney that I could I do with out. I am sure that you could get decent money for one on the black market. LOL

nobody's guessing

first off, the reverse light, sure it might LOOK cool, and yes it's a weekend car, but have fun doing ANYTHIN with that reverse light. If someone's right on your tail, and you wanna back up, they'll NEVER see that light. Most cars won't see that light anyways because it's a low riding convertible, so be braced for shopping lot fender benders for that reason. You're backing up, someone's not looking DOWN for the reverse light, and they hit you. Maybe in practicality it's different, but I'm not so sure, it's REALLY low...

Second, and this one I can't quite explain as well as my dad did, but due to the shape that we all love of the car, the problem is everything is 'flush', you have no room for error in terms of trying to squeeze by. You don't have a bumper/fender that particularly sticks out and you can use to gauge distance, when you scrape against that wall, it won't be just one little part of the car, it will be the entire SIDE of the car. likewise with the front and rear bumpers. There's no 'feelers' on the front, back, or sides. This is a car that I think will end up racking reallly high in repair costs... basically i think the Sky will end up being a car that you will have to be SUPER paranoid about.... which I don't think will work well for the mindset of the person buying a 20-25k convertible.....

Of course, its just speculative at this point, but I have to disagree with you on both accounts.

It's not the position of the break light that people notice, it's that bright white light coming from the back of the car that gets people's attention. And besides, who backs up into uncoming cars?

Then the flush-thing: I can't argue with your statement because I haven't really seen one to know one way or another. My problem is the wall damage going from the front of the car to the back of the car. When you hit the wall, it will make a terrible noise that will cause you to immediately hit the brakes - long before you get to the end of the car.

I just found this thread so I didn't get a chance to answer before you revealed the "problems."

However, my guesses are the cup holder and trunk space. The trunk-space issue is more evident before you own the car, however, a lot of people with passengers going to Stabuck's are going to find themselves in a bit of a dilema. Even as a lone driver, having the cupholder on the passenger-side of the console seems a bit of a stretch while driving.
