where to buy wire???

anyone know of a good place to buy automotive wire or any all general use wire and connectors,, need to invest in some like 12awg and 18ish awg wire but figure there has to be a better place to buy from rather then radio shack and such. anyone know a internet supplier?? i searched aroudn a lil bit but was finding nothing that pleased me, any info would be great.

Find a dealer with phoenix gold wire. I have never had a problem with their product. I'm lucky and have 4 car audio places in my area.

try going to an advanced auto parts or auto zone or even wal-mart.. they have like 10 ga. 14 ga. and 16 ga. wire spools for like $5 and they give you 20 feet.. i've uesd it and it's worked fine for me.. plus it comes in different colors so you can run them together and not get confused... make sure you get a goot set or wire strippers and a good set of crimpers.. it will save a lot of wasted connectors.. oh and eletrical tape is always a must

I have got some smokin' hot deals from these guys in the past, especially if you want to buy quantity.
Just call them direct and you'll get the best deal. partsexpress will always have what you need if stereodirect doesn't.
