how do I get my video from my video camera to my computer

how do I get my video from my video camera to my computer? I want to post sound clips of my exhause for all of your listening pleasure but I dont know how to do it.

Well it depends a lot on what type of camera you have. Many of the newer cameras have either a USB or firewire port that you can plug into your computer from your camera. First thing you need to fo is find out which one it is you have then buy the appropriate cord.

It should already have the cord. Consult your manual. If you don't have the manual, you can most likely find it online. That's the manufacturer and model #?


Most likely it uses a USB connection. When you connect it and turn it on, it will create a "drive" on your computer, which you can view by going to "My Computer" and opening the drive. Especially if it is a Sony camera. I don't recommend installing any software they gave you.

it has a usb port and i tried pluging it in to my computer. Do I need a particular sofware inorder to upt my vidoe on the computer/ streetfire

What brand of camera? When you plugged it in, did it make a "USB connected" sound? Did it load up it's drivers automatically, or did it ask for software (drivers)? It should find everything by itself.

You do not need any special software to transfer to your computer or streetfire.
