2005 price

Hey guys....need some help

My best friend...like a brother to me is looking at an 05 RL at saturn north dealer rite up the road.

the car has some dealer stuff on it....window tint, perdormace pkg grill but they WAY over priced it (195$), and a set of kuhmo all season's in a 245 size!!!!!!!!!245/45/27 i think.

but worst of all....they put HORIBLE!!! women looking flame job on the side. its TOTALY HORIBLE!!!

the horible paint/it not moveing caused the dealer to put a $5000 rebate on it

the factory options are the advanced autio/sunroof...i think thats all

but yea any way...hes tradeing in his normal ION-2 and useing his truck as a down payment....its worth about 3k

so with all that in mind...the truck money as a down payment and cars lack of attention

what is a good idea of a monthly payment for buying the car. prob over the longist term we can get.

thanks for any ideas guys.

It would be hard to tell exactly what a monthly payment would be without telling us teh miles on the ion 2 and the price of the redline (I'd guess 17 with the rebate). If you finance 17k expect a payment at least 250 (more like 300-320) a month for 5 years (isn't that the longest term?)

Don't they have 2 other chili pepper red ones left. They may still have the 06 blue with the comp package still there. Thats the one I ordered. It sits in the corner of the lot. They dont say much about it because the want to get rid of the 05 on the lot. That car that you are talking about has been on that lot for almost a year now. At one time they had 4 red ones and the blue one that I ordered with the comp. package. Your payment may at the most be around $300 for that one.

i'm trying like hell to get him in the blue one with the comp pkg....makes so much more sence with the LSD and all.

the red painted one is his best becasue they have had it for a while and there offering that discount and i'm a hell of a down talker.

were hopeing for payments as close to 200-240 range as possible.

what's the name of this dealer?

also nobody's goin gto be able to give you ANY ideas for payments if we have no clue what the numbers are.... what's the real price they're giving you for the redline, I somehow have a feeling even with that '5k rebate' it's going to be overpaying, because about 2k of that rebate is goin towards taht overpriced dealer crap like the flames.

but the reason why i ask what saturn dealer this is because there's a situation almost EXACTLY like this at a dealer here ;p

Like freak said, how can we help you without any #'s to start with. 5k off of what? Also, we have no idea what kind of credit your buddy has. A little more info and maybe we can give you a hand. I got $3500 off my SRT-4 and you wont be able to guess what my payment is because you have no idea what my interest rate is, how much down payment I put down, etc.

exactly there are WAY too many variables, 1% interest affects your payments SEVERELY.
