Possibility of Front Strut Tower Brace?

Hey Goofyguy, I was wondering if there is any possibility of a future strut tower brace for IONs and redlines alike? I hate the look of the SPS brace (not to mention the price of it) and the one from RSM racing is ugly as sin (not to mention the cost of that one too).

Any future plans for a good looking and strong strut tower brace?

They do need to be a good, strong, metal to provide some stiffness there. Which is also not the easiest metals to work with, time wise. You really don't like the look of the SPS one? I think it's nice. I mean, function over form my man. I'm not implying Goofy can't make one or anything, but the SPS one is what, $200? That's pretty much all fabrication too, not much you can just 'use' like the brace. If Goofy had to invent the brace itself, you could imagine the price increase that would have come over the $120!

Not that $120 wasn't a great price, hell, I couldn't even find the damper alone for less than $140 shipped, let alone with brackets, instructions, and someone that would rip the bracket off their personal car to make up for the mail's mistakes. I'd buy one from Goofy over SPS, but I don't think he's in the market for a new product when he's shipping out soon.

Oh I didnt know he's shipping out soon. Sometimes I feel like I live under a rock since I'm out of the loop with things.

yeah I don't know about the SPS one. I may end up getting it since it's the only good option right now, but I find it ugly.

It could look better... anything could... you can always get a little creative with it. It dosen't look like it's very customized beyond whats needed for it to work. Someone on here has it, and he customized it a bit, looked real good. I forget who... Sinister Redline maybe?

I'd buy a strut tower brace from Goofy over SPS. I don't like the SPS logo on it, either.

no go man. I dont have the tools to make that happen. After many hours under the hood I just dont have the means to make it happen. I saw a nice looking one somewhere on the boards but I lost it.
