Michigan Performance Shops

I figured we should get a thread going that lists local shops where we have had work done. Now when someone needs something done, we will all know where to look.

My car is currently at:

Stenod Performance LTD.
185 E Elmwood
Troy, MI 48083

Phone: 248.307.0056
Fax: 248.307.0059
E-Mail: stenod@stenodperformance.com

We are located on the North side of Detroit in Troy, between 14 and 15 mile on Elmwood between Rochester and Livernois. Feel free to contact us any time regarding your questions or comments.
http://stenodracing.com/index.html

They are installing my new clutch and control arm bushings. They have already installed a clutch on one LSJ, mine will be the second.

There is also:
The Tuning Factory
24788 Crestview Ct
Farmington Hills, MI 48335-1506

Phone: 248.477.0700
E-Mail: sales@tuningfactoryinc.com
http://www.tuningfactoryinc.com/ (Website hasn't been updated to reflect their new name yet)

They can install a Greddy Emanage and do a custom tune with a smaller pulley and larger injectors. They also have the ability to do custom fab work.

I've never been here personally, but when I was a member of the Vibe community, the revered & highly worshipped Turbo Vibe Guy (nice car, really fast, by the way) always sung this shop's praises, and I'm sure they could do some stuff for us if prodded enough. It's called Monkeywrench Racing.

Yeah they have some bad ass cars up there. They have done work on my MR2. They have a newer MR2 that is sick with 400+whp. They know what they are talking about.

Haha, the irony is enormous.

When I've got some cash I may fly down there. I know we used to drive by there when we were cutting lawns last summer, and we'll be on the same route again in about a week. Maybe on my lunch one of these days.
