Count me in. Do we need to bring our own grill meat?

Haha, it's actually like, right next door to the proving grounds where we'll be going. If anybody shows up the day before & wants, there's a couple of subdivisions where you can park in the entrance and look straight down one of the test tracks.

There was a car chase around here about 3 years ago where some guy rammed like 4 cars on I96, led the cops through a small town, broke into the proving grounds & drove around the test tracks for a couple minutes. It took them like 2 1/2 hours to stop him, I actually witnessed the chase TWICE. It was retarded.

Edit: The green part in this map is the park we'll be at, the gray blotch above it is the proving grounds.

Monkey is the man. If you want I will help pay for a spot if thats what we need.

I might just drive my MR2 instead of the redline. I haven't decided which one yet.

Hehe, yeah, I've been interested to see the mister-two . . . hehe

It's going to be good.

As far as the grill meat, I still haven't gotten a chance to scout out the location & stuff to assess the grillage situation, but I'd go ahead & say "yes", we can either do a BYOB&M (bring your own beverages & meat) or perhaps we can do like a "pot-luck signup" where people can volunteer to bring certain dishes & drinks you'd expect at a cookout. It's up to you, the attendees. Let me know suggestions, maybe I'll set up a pot-luck list.

I will probably bring a big ass bowl of my mom's potato salad - it's teh good. I guess I should ask though - if I bring it, will anybody eat it?

One thing I will say, I would honestly try to discourage alcohol. As much as I love to get sauced, I would say at an automotive function where everybody's going to have to drive home at some point, it's probably not the best idea. I'm not your mom, and I can't tell you "no", but you know.

Finally, I am going to ask everybody who plans on attending: Please send me an e-mail to cdsvoboda@gmail.com, and just let me know your name, your phone number, and how many people are going to be with you so I can get an idea of who's going to be there, as well as start a contacts list.

This is what is official right now. I am going out there to check out some locations tomorrow; it is $125 to rent a gazebo or whatever for the day, and then it is guaranteed the Redline Forums; however, there are 11 open that Sunday, and I don't really have $125 to throw at a gazebo right now, even if the RLF help me recoup the cost.

As I said, I am going out there tomorrow. If people who KNOW they are attending want to help cover the cost of the space rental, perhaps we can arrange something . . . I will have a better idea of what will work tomorrow. The reason I'm SORT OF pushing the idea of getting a "gazebo" or w/e is I have this image in my head that they're fairly large in size, so even if we get 20-30 people (hoping for more!), we can squeeze them in so the meet is a "go" rain or shine.

More info tomorrow early afternoon, EST. (Eastern Standard Time, that is)
There ok in size... I have been there before... Actually im gonna be there next weekened for my Car Clubs Cookout!!

Drive the RL and we can probably get Bryan to tune your car while we are there.
