The event is run under the Metropolitian Council of Sports Car Clubs, and organized by the Chippewa Valley Sports Car Club and CVTC auto students.
The track area is very well sized at approx 714' x 500', excellent surface as it was repaved about 2 years ago and well maintained. Course layout done by a professional, very well marked by both cones, markers, and lines. The course and docking areas are prepped very well prior to the event, including sweeping and debris removal, repair of any concern areas, and any other issues that may need to be addressed. Knowledgable veterans and staff are more than willing to help you with tips and instruction, helping those who are just starting out, all the way to experienced drivers.
There will be a limit of 100 entrants in the competition. SCCA rules and reguations are used and enforced, so prepare appropriatly. Karts will be allowed at this event, single riders only, no points awarded, however trophy prizes may be presented.
This race typically has a large turnout, with a wide range of cars ranging from daily drivers to fully prepped race vehicles, econo-cars to exotics, and everything in-between. It's a great race for anyone just getting into the scene with the friendly atmosphere, great course, and lots of help only a car away.
