I watched the radar for 5 hours yesterday. Storms rock. Oddly enough, knock on wood, I've never seen one from the house in the 20ish years I've been here. Same with my parents, never seen one. They've been REAL close, but not close enough.

Never seen a twister. We had one a few summers ago right down the street from me. It never touched down from what I hear. It just ripped some huge pine trees out of the ground and laid them across the street.

Chris, you guys had one out in hartland last year or the year before. It destroyed that farm.

Yeah, I remember that one well, but it was more than a couple years ago, like 3-4, I still rode the bus to school! It touched down by the high school (we were on the bus at the middle school, and the bus driver said "There's a tornado, we've got to get off" and I said "bullshit" but sure as hell there was one.) Pretty loco stuff. Good memory on that one, btw.

i am one myself, and i've been preaching the change in weather since '99, all of a sudden everyone i hear talking about the weather is talking about how seasons are changing and it won't go back to normal

looks like i'm not crazy after all...

all you need are MRE's and ammo. Everything else will fall into place with those two items.

Last time we went to Michigan, they called us 'Flatlanders', what's up with that? I must have failed to notice the sweeping mountain vistas!

Does Toronto qualify for the Great Lakes Forum or do I get to go to the Canada only only. You guys have more RLs than I do and would be interested in a Michigan or Buffalo/Rochester meet.
