I have to say that the guy driving the GTO was prepared to rip through the 1/4 mile pretty fast, as he was wearing a helmet and all. Maybe I should be the one wearing it?

Well my last run was my worst. I think it is because I had my underbody lights on.

He just finished up his video now...8 min long. He has to convert it through divx to make it much smaller for the rest of you guys to download it. I think he put in a lot of the event there, not just RL stuff.

I'm not trying to put words in his mouth, but from what he told us about his launches, he still seemed to get a decent amount of wheel hop. On my launches, I wasn't launching from high enough revs to just spin and hop my tires. I kind of slipped the clutch and feathered the throttle to the point of most traction before I hammered it. When I didnt' have good traction, my tires were just spinning, instead of hopping, without a torque brace. I'm thinking it's how you try to control the car will determine the spin or wheel hop you get.

Well guys, here's the video my brother made of the days events (driving there, racing, and leaving). I think it's pretty good (I'm not saying that just because my brother made it), but being that it's one of his first vids with his new camera, he's got some improving he can do. I definitely liked the vid - even with Streetfire being shitty & him having to alter the quality of it to make it reasonably sized for the internet, I can tell that the camera you guys bought him is superb. Very nice.
