Milan Saturday, Ypsi Sunday

All fellow Michiganders, we got some stuff happening this weekend if any of you are interested in meeting up and going there. Just a fair warning, Friday is my birthday. My 21st birthday. So I'm pretty sure I won't be driving my RL if we meet up and make a train to each location, since I will be killing my liver ALL weekend

First event is Saturday, at Milan, for another XceedSpeed Under the Lights event. It starts at 6pm, so we can talk about where and when to meet up after we get an idea of who wants to go. Anyone can run down the track at this, for $20-25 I think.

The second event is to go and watch alredline compete in his SCCA event in Ypsilanti. You can only compete if you have an SCCA license and register in time, otherwise we are stuck watching.

All the info is on that first post. It is not too far from Milan, before it actually, probably 15 minutes closer.

Also, if anyone wants to head out to Gratiot or Woodward Friday or Saturday night, we could also do that. I'll probably be at the bars on Woodward both nights

If anyone is interested, please post which one you'd want to meet up and go to. I'll be PMing the list of people I make below that I know are around here. If I forget anyone, please copy the list and post the person(s) forgotten and forward them the PM you got from me. This is kind of last minute again, but not as last minute as last weekend.

Alright, here's the list of people:

Can you say pub crawl.

Well as of right now I have no funding for this weekend. I might be able to squeeze this in the budget. I would love to buy you your first legal warm flat beer at Milan. But we'll see what happens. I'll keep you guys posted.

I like the pub crawl idea on Fri/Sat. night.

I'm down for Sunday for sure. Ypsi. is very close and I like the whole free aspect of it.

Ahh memories. Don't woory the drinking will get old after a year or two. If it doesn't you have a problem. When I was 21 I went to clubs and dive bars just to get drunk (ie wild woody's, Kodiac, Tonic). Now I prefer a good pub with good music, decent food and cold Guiness. And if there is a patio all the better in the summer. And ussually a place with a pool table or two. Or 20.

Hamlin Pub is a favorite. As is Snookers in Utica and the Shamrock pub across the street from my place. Those 2 are my ussuals. But I enjoy JD's Key club in Pontiac. (We should all go there sometime) and club sevin has a martini and Jazz lounge on the second floor that is a real nice dress up date place.

I may not be going this wekend with you guys as I have no idea where I will be working and if I will have funding for entertainment. I'll keep you posted.

I couldn't wait a half hour, so I was at Meijer right after work, buying the mixes for some white russians, right now.

As for the Hamlin Pub, my sister used to work at the one in Lake Orion. I think she still works there once a week...but now she's a head waitress at the new one 22 & Hayes (I think that's the location). I will most likely be there for some of the night tomorrow...

And now, back to the regularly scheduled White Russians....
