That's a fairly small campus, I'd say drive around one or two days this week between classes to see if you can find his car and check it out in the daylight.

I saw the car driving two weeks or so ago driving while i was waiting in my car. At the time, I didnt know it was him. But I could kinda hear the SC from inside my car (radio off). I will try to get a hold of him and get pics or something, but I have a very busy week of school coming up.

Larger intercooler? I don't see how one off a M90 or M112 would fit.

If this car does exist and it's actually his, GM didn't flip the bill. Or it's his dad's car to drive around and test, but he drives it around too. I think the later is what's going on.

And this guy's dad let him have it for the night, where the kid leaked some info that probably isn't supposed to go public.

I don't know, I'm just putting a different scenario out there that makes it more believable
Back in the day, my old man did work for nissan and we had preproduction cars in our house for months on end. Everything from the first S/C frontier to the 350Z and every thing in between. I was 16/17 at the time and yea, I may have taken a certain G35/350Z/altima to some local spots and BSed the locals. All Im saying is, you never know. If it is a test car, it aint his... and if it is his car... Im going to steal it

Confirmed. It is his own car not his dads. He is leasing to buy to keep his payments down. From what he told me, GM took the car to "SLP." I have never heard of it but maybe some of u guys have. The other work such as intake and exhaust were done at a shop in Wixom, Mi. All paid for GM according to him. Also got more information regarding his suspension. It has a coil over kit on it from Japan. He called them the "green ones." I will have more information and pics by the end of the week, I hope. Just give me time, I have a lot of exams this week.

I was wondring if SLP was going to make any parts. They make a lot of parts for gtps, camaros and firebirds.

SLP has been around for a long time, lots of headers and some suspension parts for Camaros. They built the SS Camaros, WS6 T/As, the Firehawks, etc, when they first came out. GM would ship them from St Therese(sp) to the SLP place to get the ram air and suspension work and such. I'm not sure that they had another place of business, other than the one in Canada, but that might be real close to where he's at in MI, or they could have more plants. SLP is EXPENSIVE stuff... more than Borla.

We both live an hour north of Detroit. The car was taken "up noth." Maybe to some proving groups farther north in Michigan. The car was not taken to Canada, I know that for sure.
