I'm not calling BS on you man, not yet. I just want some specifics, and if you don't know much about the tech side of the car, it's easy for him to BS you. Everyone does it. If he's not doing it, we want to know how to make our cars just as fast, and if he is BSing you then we want you to know, so you can tell him to stop looking like an idiot! He's ruining it for all of us.

Has he said how long the car has been like this?

I understand that you guys are second guessing this. I would too if I hadn't seen the car w/ my own eyes. He told me he got the car 5 months ago and shortly after GM took the car. Not sure of an exact time frame.

No offense to you at all man, but I'm a bit confused how seeing something with your own eyes when it comes to performance is going to make you any more of a believer???
You said you didn't get a chance to actually check out the internals, I take it you didn't see a timeslip or a dyno. So, I'm confused about what makes you so certain that he got to that 300+ number then?

I beleive that it hit 21psi, because I just installed my psi-fi kit and my defi boost gauge, and the gauge sometimes reads a little bit above 19psi. And that's with the 2.85 pulley of course.

That's fine, if you're moving. But parked? Maybe pulling the boost bypass lets it hit full boost in N, that's a little scary really...

yea, that part I can believe, and I can believe witnessing that, but getting 21 psi isn't goin to get you 300+ hp...

Nah, I'm not saying you're lying, just curious if your friend might have exaggerated a bit (though if he didn't, I'm one of the ones that will be curious as well about the mods, that might push me to go out and buy a RL a little faster), since you didn't get a chance to actually see anything, he might have been blowing smoke, not saying you're lying at all though.

I fully agree w/ u. Until I see the engine and am able to talk to him agian. I can only tell u guys what he told me. But i am 100% sure I saw the boost gauge hit 20/21 psi.
