Quick Weapon R Intake Question

I am currently in the process of installing a Weapon R Intake on my RL. For people who already have one. Did U remove the entire air box from the car or leave it in place?? Thank u very much

you remove it completly

I removed mine..................with a sawz-all

The thing is a bitch to get out!!!!!

Thanks. I ended up cutting mine into 3 pieces, w/ a Dremel Drill. Bad idea, took forever. Total installation time took 4 hrs. But I am very happy with the filter! Sound is amazing. Anyone know what they are doing w/ the filter during the winter?? Are people taking them off?? Or leaving them on??
