you know what would be the best for timeslips would be instead of a number on there they have the car or somesort of indicator that lets the person(s) which one is truely theirs. not being rude or non-beliving but those two times are pretty close and w/o actually being there to see what lane he was in could be that he got the 14.1 instead of the 13.997 .............. again im not saying i dont believe you......... im just stating a very obvious fact that the drags need to do. to create a system so when they insert the number into the system it puts a name or car make or somthing like that onto the slip for eaiser verification.

I actually said the exact same thing. Regardless both times are impressive for the IRL. Personally, I always mark my time slip after I race with which one was me. The track does keep records as to what number was assigned to which car and what driver. So if you want to call Lapeer Dragway you have the date and car number. But that seems like alot of work.

Besides what kind of person intentionally marks the slip wrong or picks up another slip just so they can lie about it. Us Detroit guys are a fairly tight crew. I will standby this time slip and vouch for gm3saturn. I don't invite people I don't trust into my home.

well I personally congrat him for getting a 13.9 and if you look at his 60' ..if he could get that down he'd be running even better.

Thanks Dave for helping me out with this.

PClear, there is a way of distinguishing between cars on a slip, its called car #s. A track will never change from their current way of doing things because people might lie about their times. Frankly, if some one needs to lie about something as trivial as ETs, they got bigger problems then people not believing them. Everyone here bitched about a slip so here it is. If this aint good enough, then o-fucken-well...

That is so cool when you get paired to a car that you are comparable to. It always seems to shave off a little time when you are actually fighting the car next to you. But we all know how T&T is, you could get paired up with a 9 second chavelle or a 'busa.

yeah i know that but if you think about it for people that are not at the race and posting slips up its just an eaiser way of verifying which car was which.

btw good run.
