they only snap on L series 2.2 engines.. havn't seen one of them go on an ion unless completely neglected

Never heard/seen an ECOTEC chain failure as a "root cause"
Only time I've ever seen or heard of the chain snapping is from a dropped valve or the cam's rotation was seized for some other mechanical reason- then somethings gotta give. Might as well be the chain- it's the least of your worries by then anyways Wop |
