That's awesome, man. Thanks.
I had ordered AAS, but it was holding up my car being finished for like 2 months, so I went without it. I've meant to do this, but kept forgetting. Thanks for the thorough how-to. EDIT: Did you order them from a specific place online? I'm looking at saturnparts.com, but I'm unsure if they've actually got the AAS pieces, since they don't have actual pictures, just an illustration of the door. I don't know if you're familiar with him or not, but there's a member on here, OZERMAN, that works at Saturn of West Chester (Pennsylvania) & he works in the Parts Dept. & has been hooking us up with good prices on parts
PM him & he'll hook you up (that's who I got mine from) He's got a set listed on ebay too in his dealer's ebay store....but PM him & talk to him Don't bother with Saturnparts.com.....OZERMAN had the panels to my door in less than a week & at a better price! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ion-A...1108QQtcZphoto |

One note: If you go with non aas sail panels like I did, get a comp set (or just tweeters) with tweets that swivel - like I did. Due to the obvious difference in distance them to your ears, point the passenger one right at you. Point the driver one at the windshield, which will delay much of its sound enough to be in synch with the further passenger one.

Yeah you're right
If the Infinity tweeters didn't fit in the AAS panels, I was just gonna mount them in the non-AAS panels like you just said you did Either way it's basically the same thing....just a different look |
