Fuel Filter Change (With Pictures)

How to change the LSJ Fuel Filter


Parts Needed:

- New Fuel Filter (AC Delco Part Number GF824)

- 3/8" Fuel Line Quick Disconnect Tool

Amen on the Safety Glasses note in the write up...A Saturn tech works part time at the hobby shop I used, and he told me not to not to run the car till it dies after I pulled the fuse. I took a Gasoline shower. I think he may have been fuckin with me. Great write up though. I'm a mechanical retard and this only took me a couple minutes.

yah i did mine today and ya it did the same thing it pissed out fuel nice from the the bottom one outlet pissed out nicely wasnt expecting it lol but i didnt undo my gas cap so the pressure probally caused the pissed out fuel

good write up. mine wasnt that bad for 50,000miles

Yeah releasing the pressure is just an extra step to save you from a taking a bath in gasoline
