HOW TO Fix Roll Pin in Linkage on Transmission

This write up is for when you lose all your gears. Your shifter become completely gearless and sloppy. After replacing the roll pin, shifter should be very tight just like a brand new shifter.

Ok, first you need a few tools:

7mm socket
10mm socket
1/2" socket
ratchet
hammer
Roll pin push

it's hard to tell from the pics what the clearances are like,
can the old pin be pushed out through the wheel well?
(using the pin pusher and a hammer?)

this is not a lengthy process. And you can't do it through the wheel well. Just not enough room.

yes you can, regardless of what he says.

i was wondering if you keep replacing your roll pin with? i have been using bolts but they just keep breaking...and why is this not a tsb?

and i have done mine through the top all 7 times and mow i got it down to where i can do it in less then 15 minutes...not something to really be proud of but hey gotta do what you gotta do...
