just ordered a mirror with on star and temp/compass. its out of a 01 pontiac grand prix, its says it well fit to an ion. so hopefully it well work out. he left the connecter in the mirror and what im thinking of doing is cutting my stock harness and tappen it into the this connecter. then running the wires to the ambinet sensor.

and i called my local GM dealership and they have the sensor in stock 6 bucks. good thing i called gm.com wanted 7 bucks + 13 to shipp

so i was looking at the harness i have on my mirror to the pig tail one they gave me with the temp/compass mirror. it has the same wires as the other one does. so im all little confused to wich wires i use. i seen that its the black and green ones, but witch one goes to what prong on the sensor. im wondering if im goin to tap into to the wire to make the sensor work.
