hey ive got a question, im planning on painting the inside of my headlights, but i was wondering how did you paint it? did you tape off the parts where you didnt want paint to get on? or did you paint by brush? im just not sure if tape would take off the chrome, i wanna make sure before i decide to do it on my own. and also does the paint come as spray paint and if so whats the name and where can i find it? thanks

When I painted my headlights, I just went to good ole' Wal-Mart and picked up a can of Krylon Fusion. The only part that you have to tape it the reflective area behind the Amber light. When the light pulls apart, and you unscrew the chrome piece that you are gonna paint the big reflective area that your Headligh beam reflects off of comes apart. You dont even have to mess with it. I used blue painters masking tape to tape mine, and nothing happened to the chrome.

The Green area that I so Artistically highlighted pulls away from the painted section. Its really easy once you get the balls to cook and pull your headlighs apart and take the chance of ruining your pretty headlights.

This sounds cool and looks great, but I just can't visualize the process. I've haven't had to work with my headlights yet so I don't see how they are put together. I'm kinda hesitant to take them out just to look at them and try to figure out the directions LOL. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Does anyone have more pictures of the entirePROCESS.

You place it on the oven rack, that way you dont melt the bottom of the head light.
