also will you be offering anything higher than a stage 5 in the future?? if i pick up the stage 5 and something else comes will you have some kind of upgrade type setup for it?? this may make the $$ easier spent for some... and i see you say conservatively will you be able to tune for more if asked by the customer i mean like a more aggressive map...???thanks again

With a mail order PCM, you’ll need to perform the Security Relearn Procedure. This only takes a half hour, and doesn't require any special tools, Here is a link to a similar procedure to the one required for LSJ-powered vehicles: http://www.intense-racing.com/sec_relearn.html

With a mail order PCM , the Crankshaft Position Variation Learn procedure (commonly referred to as CASE Learn) will also be required to prevent DTC P0315 (Crankshaft Position Variation Not Learned) from triggering your Service Engine Soon light. Anyone with a Tech II (such as a GM dealership) can perform this special function for you in a couple minutes. Some discretion is necessary when asking your dealership to NOT re-flash the PCM. If they re-flash the PCM, all your special tuning will be gone and un-retrievable. Many dealers will perform the Crankshaft Position Variation Learn procedure for free, while others may charge a modest fee.

Here's a 100% stock car with our Stage 1 PCM. The red lines are stock and the blue lines are after the PCM flash.

Here's a link to the whole story:
’06 Cobalt SS PCM tuning results!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a Stage 3 kit on a a car with no other mods. This time the red lines are with the injectors and pulley, and the blue lines are with the PCM flash too.

Here's a link to this story:
’05 Redline PCM tuning results!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's most of a Stage 5 kit on Rob Archer's car with exhaust work too. His blower is still stock though. The blue lines are with a GM Stage 2 flash, and the red lines are the tune Rob and I worked out together.

Here's a link to Rob's write-up:

(edit: sorry, I didn't realize you can't link to other forums here)
