Looks good man. Did the cai solve all your problems?

EDIT: Well, solve all your cars cel/limp mode problems.

That looks really nice man. I have been wanting to do that, but I just don't have the time to cut out the black plastic grill thing. Unless you found an easy way to do it?

At least on the '04 it is one long plastic piece that snaps in and is held by 4 screws. You can negotiate that piece out.

I tried it both ways, and for some reason having the grain go UP sorta matched the lines of the car. Hard to tell it's like that unless you're up close and it all looks decent, IMHO. Not hard to switch, if I want.

The mesh is APC from Pep Boys. As to cutting it out, I just popped the whole plastic piece out and used an electric saw and dremel to get the plastic out. A total of 8 tiny screws (4 to each side) to hold it on. Didn't want to epoxy, if I decide to switch the grain.

Sure did. No issues since install. Good $200 investment. Now that the CEL / limp mode is gone, I have a 3.1 pulley in the mail
