My newest mod........

I got sick and tired of looking at the ION logo in the dash, you know the one, that looks like a slot to put a cassette into a deck...........

so this is what I did

I used 26 ga alum with a brushed finish, it is epoxied into place, and obviously I used the stock emblems for the trunk lid.

Nice. is that painted pink or is it just the picture? heheh when i painted a couple interior peices(metallic gunmetal) i took a paint pen and put a red line through the ION in that spot then cleared over. Came out pretty good, adds just enough.

Actually it was REALLY sunny out when I took the pic, it is painted Copper............Coppertop (user name)................I am a redhead (well actually it is closer to copper or burnt orange), its been my nickname since grade 10, so I figured I would make it my accent colour in my car

Really, just for the record... On standard Ions, that is where the passenger airbag indicator (off/on) is, and also if the massenger is buckled up. The recaros don;t have 'people' snsors in them, so that isn;t in our cars. It might be in the 07's though with the new seats.
