Personally would have stayed away from Kodak. I don't like their colors. Sony Cybershot and the Nikon Digital cameras are very nice in my opinion.

Looks pretty good though.

??? We have been using Kodak cameras for our real estate pics for the last 2.5 years and just bought the V570. I do all of our print ads and send print ready copy to the publisher and there is no color difference between the pics in our ads and other photos in the magazine. Maybe you are slightly color blind?

The V570 is awesome for real estate because of the 23mm wide angle lens, we can get the whole room in a pic(even small bedrooms.) And it has an automatic, in camera, stitching feature that will give 180° with 3 photos. The flash leaves a little to be desired over other cameras (even my other cheap, $150 Kodaks) but we do little in the way of flash dependent pictures. The wide angle lens really yields some neat photos of cars when they are taken close up and the image just bends and flows. There is some vertical distortion, but that is to be expected with a wide angle lens, at least it is not fisheye. Attached is a butt shot of the stepson's Cavy up close in Wide angle and an up close shot of a blown engine that wouldn't have been possible with a regular lensed camera.

I'm not colorblind at all. In fact I have near perfect vision except for my right eye which sustained some damage in a fight.

So is it the Kodak that definitely makes that license plate on your step-son's cavy look bad or is that a crap ass photoshop job?

Is it just me or do those pics come up super tiny? Well, not tiny, but not big enough to see engine detail.
