this is David's pride and joy and I can tell you this thing is FAST... I was the camera man in the 2 fly-bys in this video and we filmed these on one of our mod days...

his current best E.t. is a 11.99 BUT that was before he put on the stage II ZZP heads which are good for another 30fwhp... we are all planning on a dyno day one day so we all should have some new numbers(well I'll finally have SOME numbers, i've never dynoed)

I still get a kick watching him run at the track, because the car looks and pretty much SOUNDS stock(until he opens the electric cutout) of course as soon as it as he launches you realize he is not stock, I love watching the reaction of people who have never seen him run before, you'll see like a stock GT(or even stock '03 cobra) get beside him at the line and some genius will always say "why is that guy even out there in that grand prix"... about 11 seconds later they feel like a moron...

a car set up for the 1/8th? it ran an 11 something with like a 5 second 1/8th mile... trapped like 74mph after running out of gear mid track and coasting the rest of the way...


i'm sorry building a car for the 1/8th mile just doesn't impress me, racing a 1/8th mile is one thing(hell its all I have within 2 1/2 hours of me)...

but anyone can gear a V8 car 5.12 or lower and run a good 1/8th, I mean that is a fast mustang, but what good is it? a car with roughly half you're horsepower would beat you through the 1/4 because you are out of gear...

how exciting..

Plus "I live my life an 1/8th mile at a time"... Just not as effective...
