The Boss got a new ride.

The owner of the shop I work at has been talking about buying a 57 for the last 15 years. It was his 1st car when he was a teenager, and now he's got another one just like it, pretty cool!

1st thing we did was take off the ugly side skirts and dropped it about 4" lower... need to take some new and improved pics!

Ha ha yeah, I think it's pretty cool. It feels really awesome to ride around in this thing, makes you think about how things were kinda better in alot of ways back then. It looks much nicer this week with the modifications we've done. I need some better pics. Sorry 'bout the blurry interior shot too.

That is the car that made me fall in love with cars.

If your boss is found in a ditch tomorrow, I swear, I don't know what happened.

Ditto. You can't get more "shoebox" than a '55. Never cared for '56s & '57s are just a little too "loud". They're okay with some customization.

I agree with you guys on the 55, and the 56 is just plain ugly.

That's exactly what he's having us do. Here's a few more pics with it lowered and without the bumper extensions and wheel skirts. We are going to put a Nomad rear bumper (it has the tag on it) and de badge the trunklid, and get rid of the trim too. Also we're getting rid of the front chrome thingy's on the hood too... just make the appearence much cleaner.
