i will admit, the car is very quick for having a completely stock exhaust, no header etc, no tune, and im telling u guys any1 with a 2.7, 2.6, 2.5 pulley without a great ( i have intense's stage 5 tune )tune should run a gallon or 2 of race gas ( 103 , 109 ) when they know they might be doing some racing. its seriously a dramatic difference

dont have acess to 103 or up out here. but i got a 100 even pump at the local 76..and it does help.. even when i was a stock tune..

yea man i love it, ill normally throw in about 10-15 dollars of premium and throw in a lil over a gallon of 109 its only 53 bucks for 5 gallons lol, but if i get called out for a race or something 2 gallons normally will do it up VERY nice =) but i couldn't be any happier with my 2nd gear roll on's and with my intense kit =) LOVE IT

MGM's really disturbing addition aside, something bothers me about this "run 109" statement.

Your car runs on one of two maps. High octane or low octane. So, as long as you're running enough octane to keep you in the H.O. map, it shouldn't matter if you're running 94 or 109. Your car will have the same ignition timing, and therefore the same (or close) power as long as you're using something in that range.

I'm not saying you're crazy, because you could still be making more power on 109. If thats happening, then your car is pulling timing due to octane, which means that more than likely you're knocking.

Am I totally crazy on this? The only reason to add more octane would be to add timing...Sp00n, NR or Dan needs to step in on this one.

Do you have some sort of scan tool? That would be the only way to tell for sure.

EDIT: Unless INTENSE tunes the L.O. map to 93 octane...and tunes the H.O. map higher. That would be pretty dangerous, though.
