Catback Exhaust Completed

So I posted a vid in the Performance section when I got my Flowmaster 40 muffler and custom 2.5" catback. Well today I went back to get the resonator installed. I went with a Jones glasspack. It totally eliminated all the raspiness when revving hard. Now all you hear is a nice deep exhaust note all the time. I'm very pleased. Here is the new video.

Let me know what you guys think.

VERY nice...you can hear the difference if you listen to both vids side-by-side.

Did you touch up those leaky areas?

Yes, I told him about the leaks. He used a mirror to inspect all sides of the piping and welded where necessary.

LoL - he didn't need a mirror for that muffler tip...he just tacked that on there to begin with!

How bad was the other one??? That was harder for me to see...

I don't know, I didn't want to get to close while he was welding.

He pretty much circled the entire pipe where it connected to the muffler.

In other news, I would like to head up your way sometime and see if we can add a little timing back now that I have colder plugs in.

This weekend is booked - I think Ben's coming out for me to look at his, and gonna get some baseball workouts in, and HOPEFULLY still have time for MY car.

Maybe NEXT weekend? Although, to be honest, you're car's beast already - the next WORTHWHILE step is to dial it in all the way...you're not missing much timing compared to everyone else out here, really...

Alrighty. I'm out of town next weekend anywho. I'll just wait my turn for the AF tuning. Will I need an interceptor for that?

$225, which included the Flowmaster 40 muffler, Jones glasspack for the resonator, 2.5 inch piping, and labor. Not too bad if you ask me.
