finally got my progress springs installed!

it took about 2.5 hours all together. the front was the hardest, but after figuring out one side, the other was fairly easy (well not easy but easier) now the pics!

Are those the ones from Gravana with the RL specific part number? I was thinking of getting those or the B&G's. The drop looks nice.

no, i bought these at a website searching froogle for the lowest price. i think it was racerwheel. quick shipping too.

Do the lowering springs for the Redline fit the other Ions as well, or are they separate spring sets?

well i bought regular ion springs because they fit, so yes. years might be different tho, i think i bought for the ion 03-07 or something

now i'ma take it off topic and ask you how you like those ASX's? you're the first RL owner i know to have 'em and they're what i'm looking at getting - driven in snow w/ 'em?

well, before i started racing at the track, they were very nice all around tires. the redline alltogether isn't great in snow. i found myself randomly with the rear end swinging out in the snow (no ebrake), but i never got stuck. i backed over a curb once in the snow, and the front tires pulled me right out. now they have little tread on them, and i'm just going to burn them off to get some summer tires like proxy-4's. but all in all, the 10k miles i put on them so far was good, they were good in the rain too, not much slip when i was stock. on dry pavement in first i could slam the gas and not get any slip. hope that helps. plus they're cheaper too.
