Nah, I'm not gonna jump on you. The only reason the Jensen (which I bought 3 years ago BTW, so I don't know if they even make Jensen anymore) went in there was because I ran out of money to put into this for the moment, and need to save up some more to finish the job. Sam at Sound Blazers was thinking about making a false floor type thing, behind the spare well, before the backseats, and putting new amps under a plexiglass "floor". I also ran out of time, and needed my car back for a little, so everything planned isn't done. That's the only reason it's there. I needed something, had that, and it's holding things over till they're FULLY finished.

A. Donor car
B. sub size, brand, recomended volume etc

If you are interested, send me a PM. If someone is willing to donate their car for a couple hours, they'll get them for supply costs only. the only problem is that I'm deployed until the end of June.

I'm in Fort Worth which I think is about two and a half hours from you. Maybe sometime in mid or end of june I can make a road trip up there for a little while. I'll let you know if and when.

Cool, it would have to be in July because I will be here in Ecuador until July 1st. Just let me know when you can do it and I'll get you my address and stuff.

are there any air cylinders for our cars or is it like a universal kit. I want to lower it but cylinder would be awesome. Even with the Jensen amp i'm ablolutely sure it'll kill mine. I went light and simple yet loud enough. It is so nice tapping into the advanced audio and having the battery and capacitor mounted nice in the spare tire well. Its not the greatest pic but it gives an idea of what i put together for $350 not including the $150 capacitor.

Don't put air ride on your daily driver RL!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! It will not be as cool as you think! In a few bouncy months you will wish you had not blown $2500 to put an air suspension on your daily driven car! I couldn't take the bounciness anymore so I took it off and put hydraulics on my car. And it's not even my daily driver! I'd definately advise against it, from experience!

As far as air suspension it sounds like your system was not put together with the proper parts. This is a subject that I am very experianced with, I currently own Total Obssesed Customs and I specealize in air suspensions I have been doing this type of work for over ten years.
I have several street rods and customs that are driven dialy and are using very high output power plants. Without knowing what was used in your system it is hard to find out why it road badly but I will give some sugestions anyhow.
1 If using air rods ( not recomended ) which are inherantly stiff, you must use an expansion tank ( not the air supply tank ) but a seperate tank used soley to allow compression of the air in the rods. However this can lead to overcycling. Another option is ther are air bleed valves that can be used in the rods.
2 If using bag struts ( recomended ) your ride will be the same or even better than stock. Currently there is nobody that makes these as a production peice for the RL. However they can be made, I personally have fabricated several one off type systems ranging from bmw 318is, to eclipses all the way to odd balls like 76 dodge pickups.
3 picking a air supply system, there are several choices ranging from tank size, valve size, compressor choice and quanity.

In the end a high qulity system will range from 2800 to 3500 installed depending on if you want side to side control and how high quality of product is used.
BEWARE OF KITS that are supposed to be complete because they are not and they use cheaper parts to get the cost down. I.E. non dot approved fittings and air line ( this stuff is expensive because it works and will not burst ).
