i have magnaflow here waiting to get put on but anyways it may be ricey BUT the exhaust shop looked at em both and he told me the obx muffler has no back pressure perfect for F/I but he said since i dont like sound hell put the magnaflow on for free! thanx for opinions i feel same way about my car
i was kinda pissed when i got er put on

Glad to see we have'nt lost ya Venom! I'll be honest with ya I HAVE seen a couple of soup cans that are tolerable. 1. Was a 04 WRX and it was cleanly installed and the sound was'nt typical of the soup can, a bit deeper like an old MGB or Triumph. 2. This one was acually on a civic, but it looked nice. Tucked up and flush with the bumper cutout, he also had nice, tasteful ground effects that were actually pained the same color as the car! However, the sound was somewhat typical...like a damn weedwhacker!

i perfer the sound of the obx over the magna flow muffler they don't have that ricey sounds to them they rumble. or mine did at least. i'll prolly go with the b5 series obx.

So do you think the best setup would be 2.5" along with cat, resinator, muffler? OR just the 2.5" cat/muffler combo? I heard that 3" actually lost power according to "Exhaust Depot/Rev it up" which recently did some testing on the Cobalt SS... They ended up deciding that 2.5" catback was the best option, but I am still unsure about a resinator

u wont need 3" until you get the PSI FI 18 psi kit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! until then 2. will be fine
