IRL hides out in warehouse

...waiting to pounce on urban rice

Here's some pics I thought you all might enjoy. First, an explanation of where...this is in the back of the Carnegie Science Center's Sports Works facility, across the street from main Science Center building. Those not familiar, both buildings are major attractions in downtown Pittsburgh, and where I happen to work teaching kids. IMAX, planetarium, a submarine in the river, enough science stuff to keep anyone occupied for a full day.

The Sportsworks building is actually an old, massive warehouse. Just the small front part of the place has been used for the public. The rest of it is a lot of wasted space, where more shit than I can ponder is stored. We have the combo to the delivery door, so just park inside

But makes for a cool photo shoot...just wish I actually had my camera, instead of only cell. Then again, it adds an interesting effect...

Eagle F1s. The floor is actually wooden blocks, pressed together. But the building's pretty damn old, so there are potholes everywhere.

Looking at that distant wall, would be the fastest 0-70-0 of all time, for an LSJ. Say 5.5 seconds.

Gauge pod was made by a member here, NYRM98.

nyrm98 custom dual gauge pod

Not sure if he's still making them. Was $100 or so...good quality, easy to mount, looks like it's stock. Shipped it in like two days. I recommend it. Just something else to set our cars apart, being able to use the steering wheel like that.

Gauge on the left is a cheapo from Pep Boys, which matched nicely with the rest of the gauges. And yes I did straighten it. Its light sucks, but I'm not usually staring at it, while driving, anyway. Really just to watch for PSI drop, stemming from s/c wear. On the right is the Aeroforce Interceptor. Might seem like overkill to spend $200+ for one, but it's worth every penny. It's like the swiss army knife of gauges...reads like 30 parameters (show two at a time, in real time) from the OBD II port. I usually just use it to monitor IAT2s and knock retard. It even has good shift lights and the ability to calculate HP, 0-60 and 1/4 times...proally other stuff I haven't tried yet.

If you have the cash, it's a great investment, especially if your tuned. Give you piece of mind cause you can keep an eye on things. Also comes in handy to clear codes. I've even shut off limp mode twice, while still moving.
