S/C Tiburon V.S. BMW M3

this guy on our boards is running a stage 3 alpine(13 psi) setup on a stock bottom end. Figured you guys might get a kick out of a lowly Hyundai beating the crap out of 50k M3. The sound of his supercharger makes me very happy in pants

Too bad it's not my car that's kellyDood's my car is still stock except for my typhoon intake and clutch but if you guys are curious here's his mod list and if he could get traction out of the hole he'd be running alot better than a 13.3 and if he had a lower sea lvl track he would run better too
Mods to KellyDood's car are as follows: NGM Alpine stage 3 setup (Alpine s/c, 2.75" upper and 7" lower pulleys, alcohol injection), Walbro 255 lph fuel pump, adjustable FPR, 290cc injectors, 2 steps colder plugs, safc-2, SSA headers and catback /w/ race pipe, VHR clutch and flywheel, Phantom Grip LSD, Injen CAI, p&p intakes and TB, fan-cooled aquacooler, poly mounts, and probably a few things I forgot. I figure it to be in the vicinity of 315 whp.
If your willing to make a trip to Next generation motorsports(they're in Davie FL) i'm pretty sure T.C. would be more than happy to run you with Tibby03's car he's pushing 425whp 387wtq he was in the twelves with his old setup but with this new 425whp setup who knows hopefully 10's

Thats nice. My mom has a gtv6 with a six speed and they have some snap just stock. First gear is way too short though you'd probably get a better launch with a second gear start. I could never get her car to launch in first.

No shit. I live 20 minutes away from where they are. I'm REALLY gonna have to go down there when I go back home for a weekend.

that is awesome! wow dude.

you know, there are certain cars that it's just awesome to run against to get at taste of how quick they are, even if you lose, and that would definitely be one of them.

I've heard of that shop for some reason, probably from the few GT guys down in my area. I'll ask them if they know T.C. I want to see his setup from the times you mention he is capable of, that's kick ass.

you should try launching the car with a clutch that actully grips instead of slipping like the stock clutch i have a spec stage 3 clutch and when i went out to the track i couldn't launch the car for shit i just got wheel hop all the way through first and second!!
