LOL!!!

Hey Goof, you inspired me. Right after seeing this thread I went, pulled my car in the garage and removed that plastic piece with the fake grills on it.

I'm gonna take it to work tonight and cut those pieces out, still leaving the surrounding attach points and, possibly, soon will go to Home Depot and buy some mesh to put in their place. I can't decide if I like all the inlets open or with some mesh on 'em.

why you can remove the black peice altogether. Its not needed and there will still be point to mount too.

I took the piece to work and cut out the cheezy black side inlets (or lack of inlet).

I know that you can leave the entire piece off but I don't like the way the tabs look on the center inlet when it's completely off.

once you push some mesh onto them itll dissapear.
