Some laps around Gingerman

You will be able to tell from the video that I am one of the slow cars out there. I was just barely keeping up with some of the integra's and one '06 Suberu Legacy. It was pretty cold that day and the car was slipping all over. I spun once at the end of the main strait (not in this clip) . It was real fun though

Enjoy

Awesome video!

How'd you mount the camera? I've been looking into that to catch a high speed run through a 1.5 mi. long tunnel. I figured into the headrest would work, but I'd like to try and get the tach/speedo in frame like your video.

Those Integras handle really well. The white one have any work done? How about that M3 that passed you? Seemed like one fast motherf***er.

It's in a video/race like that you just KNOW an LSD would be worth every damn cent

Anyway, good job! I hope to get my RL to the track next spring.

This is the mount I used.

http://www.chasecam.com/cruisecam/index.html

I am not sure what kind of work they had done to the cars. I did slow down to let them pass. They took about 2 laps to catch me. You can see on the strait before that I went a little to the right. Thats because the M3 was getting right up on my ass lol.

I wasnt able to go as fast through the corner before the first big strait because the back end slipping around alot. After reviewing the video I see that I had a ton of track left there and coulda gone faster if I woulda used it.

I dont know if you can hear it but the the SC whine would chirp a little because the tires were slipping as I exited some of the corners. I can see how an LSD could be a large asset.

a few more laps. I think the rattle was from my lense cover

The black integra was one of the few that I was able to keep up with. He still had more pull on the straits though.

I guess I will post one up of my spin too. Just give me a few min.

How are your tires? I know you've done quite a few events, probably toast by now...

yeah the Victo's are toast

now im just deciding on what to do next year with tires. I am seriously think about the Falken Azeinis RT 615's. I would like to use them for my everyday tire and race tire so I dont have to change tires at events anymore. I am not sure how the Falkens can hold up to all those mile and heat cycles. We will see. I may just burn up the Dunlops first.

LOL. ...the guy at the end "maybe you should let your tires warm up a little bit more"

I would have said "maybe you shouldnt warm up your mouth so much! Oh, and thanks for the tip!" LOL
