The tires were $450 and I got the rims for $200 from a member here.

I went with Cooper Weather-Master S/T-2. They've got a pretty agressive thread so I think they will do good in the snow. Everyday I hope for snow so I can try them out, lol.

Well you just may get to test them tomorrow, when we're supposed to get 2" of snow. And I get to try to drive back home to the ROC from Ann Arbor here in it...with the stock Dunlops on. I sure hope I can beat the snow, otherwise I'm not looking forward to the trek home. After thinking about, I'm probably gonna invest in some steelies and winter tires in the next week here. Thank you credit card...

We're supposed to get some amount of snow, then rain, then more snow... Im not even driving the car this week. I still have no winter tires, and I'm not sure when I can get them...

I've been staring at my computer screen for a few hours, when I glance outside for the first time and, lo and behold, white stuff's falling.

And sticking.

Should be an interesting ride home...I know two routes that won't require hill climbing when MAJOR snows starts. I'm in debt enough as it is...putting off winter tires if possible. Hopefully moving to where I can take public transportation
