reread what i just said, i just said in a couple years they'll probably be worth more than they are NOW, nothing related to it 'going up forever'

Yea I know,

and in a few years our cars will be worth about as much as the regular Ion will be in a few years. Not even the last Fbodys are holding their values anymore, atleast not around here.

Shiiot, finding a low mileage and real good shape 00+ f-body around here will go from $25K+.

People thought the same thing with the cars from the 60s that they wouldn't be worth crap. With given time they will be worth something one day.

Around here the fbody's go much cheaper. My dad bought a 99 Trans am convertible, fully loaded, 30k miles, flawless, for under 13000 a couple of months ago. I looked at a 97 Camaro Z28 Contertible a couple of months before that. Fully loaded, great shape but it was an Auto, I was looking for a stick. It went for 7000, had 50000 on it I believe. Transam GTA's go for about 2000 around here now, I know I was looking at those too.

Hopefully, that would be nice, although how long will any of us really own these cars? Right now I am just going to keep enjoying mine.......

Wow....that really is sad. I like the RL's alot. If I owned one I would hang onto it. It will still garner a nice price tag in the years to come cause it wont depreciate as fast as some other cars out there, and now that they arent gonna make them. However...I dont think they will IMMEDIATELY go up in price. It will take awhile before they start to earn some more value.

Same with my SRT-4. It has depreciated next to nothing in the last 2 years. These cars are highly sought after............I think they will be even more sought after in the years to come. You wait and see. Good luck to all you owners

I still cant believe its over...seems like yestarday that I was whating for the first one to get to the Saturn dealership so I could test drive it.

I wonder who actually got the very last one produced...will it be a regular customer or a Saturn/GM employee...If anyone has a way of finding out it would be an interesting thing to know.

I would say you should run the 04 model years, try finding the time of the earliest IRL VIN leaving the production line, then run the VIN to see where it was registered.
