I guarantee I have more automotive knowledge in my ass hairs than this entire thread combined. Continue to be completely ignorant if you like, whats your SC make in boost at 3k rpms? So what constitutes lag? Wouldnt you consider it the point up to which you have full boost? So in a SC case it would mean at REDLINE.

so we've got boost lag until redline? sounds like you've got all the automotive knowledge in the world. hopefully you can keep this crap out of this thread and keep it in the PMs where i have taken it, and where it belongs, flake.

Roughly 8 psi. BUT,it makes just under 5 psi at 1000 rpm and about 6 at 2000 rpm. What turbo car can do that? None that I know of..........unless the turbo is too small for the car.

It's a ROOTS SUPERCHARGER! There is no lag! It's rotors are allways spinning, you open the throttle and bam, instant boost. Granted it dose not make full boost earily like a turbo car dose but it dose make usable boost at ALL rpms unlike a turbo car.

We could have the super/turbo charged motor debate all day long, they are two different ways of ending up with the same result, POWER, but they are DIFFERENT! Comapring their boost curves is like comparing apples to oranges, it makes no sense.
