Harrop TVS - Coming Soon!!

The new HTV Blower from Harrop Engineering will be out soon. The new HTV 1320, made specifically for the LSJ application, will put out .32L more per revolution than the stock M62 and we all know more air means more power. This blower will allow all the guys that are looking to kick some tail the ability to do so and be able to push the LSJ to the power levels it is capable of.

i thought the biggest probs w/ the M62 were the efficiency & heat... yes this one will push more CFM, but how about those?

OK, for the uninitiated of us out there, I have a few questions:

1. How much air over stock, in a percentage, does this thing move?
I know, .32 L, but where are we at stock? ( I like percentages, it makes everything so clear.)

2. What is the expected hp increase?

3. Is this more beneficial than say, just slapping on a smaller pulley to incease boost?

4. Will larger than stock injectors be necessary?

5. What is the expected retail price?

1. Stock M62 is 1L per revolution. HTV1320 is 1.32L per revolution. So 32% more air per revolution

2. Noone knows as of yet but it'll be able to flow more air than you'll know what to do with.

3. Yes. Alot more beneficial than that

4. Yes

5. $2250 is the MSRP but that is not the "final" price yet

I'll clarify #3 for you, since you so eloquently answered the rest.

Slapping on a smaller pulley spins the blower faster. While this also builds more boost faster, you're also exponentially adding heat. IMHO, I think anything below a 2.8 is just creating heat and waste, without a proper methanol injection system.

Switching to this bigger blower will have two incentives:

1) Moving more air requires less work. You can use less boost, and therefore less heat, for the same power levels. If nothing else, this is just better for your engine.

2) This particular blower is more efficient than our stocker. Even if they were both 1L/rev blowers, the TVS would do so with more efficiency. Thus, moving to a larger, more efficient blower is just a win/win situation.
