No, I can't say I do. Looking at the whole picture, anyone looking for more power always spends more than they originally intend, and most vehicles that yield more power per dollar have way to many other components that need replacement that ARE NOT factored into the equation well. Heck, most people do not include additional fuel costs, vehicle cost, insurance cost, etc, into their claims.

point is, and i know theres really no basis for this comparison between the two cars, but i never put a tenth of the money into my camaro's that i have into the redline, and 2 out of 3 of them would smoke my RL... which is probably why they both ended up wrecked(i was young and in-experienced).

whats everybody gonna do when they start hitting numbers in the high 300's and up, and theres no support for out tranny?

But giving up has never been in my blood. So how about this I finish up all remaining turbo kits, finish the Twin Screw and kick some TVS butt.

Why would you need a return-style system with 42's? The stock fuel system can max out fuel delivery on 42's no problem. And the only time I have heard of peps blowing their engines on 42's is because of boost-by pass mod, way too small of a pulley, bad tuning or too much heat.

I agree the cost/gains would probably be minimal.

The stock fuel system is not keeping up with them. People with decent tunes might be doing alright, but they are band-aiding the problem with electronics. The fact of the matter is, the stock fuel system cannot properly meter how much fuel it is spraying under boost. It does a good job a making an educated guess under stock situations, but that's all.

Actually, I've been talking back and forth with multiple people who have done similiar swaps, including jgarciarivera who this thread was originally from (at that other site). While there setups are not bad, there are things that can be done to improve them and simply both the installation and tuning aspects. Until those kinks are worked out, it's hard to say what is best for most people, but, I and many others are working on this as we speak.

Hey Shab...

What kinda cost does the return style look like? I may be interested in doing this to the car.

Depends on what components you use. I'm working on kits starting at $300 and going up to $1000. I expect to sell more of the cheapest ones, of course.
