Josh, $2250 for a new type of forced induction (at least new blower) isn't bad at all. Most people I don't think were able to piece together turbo swaps for any less (and that would have required alot more custom fabbing). I believe the new twinscrew blowers from Lysholm actually run about $2k by themselves, without any way to fit it to the motor.

Well, I see it like this. We already have the big part of forced induction out of the way, which is a blower setup. All we are doing is upgrading our forced induction component. Let's take a look at a turbo setup; say we are running a turbo setup with a lil itty bitty turbo and we want to upgrade our forced induction component to...let's say a GT35R. This upgrade would cost us around $1,300. At least I think that all we would have to replace is the turbo itself. Bottom line, upgrading turbo's seem much cheaper than blower upgrades.

Yeah, if you're going to run a bigger turbo with a stock intake and exhaust manifold, you're wasting time and money.

Problem is, we're not running a turbo setup. Obviously if you already have a turbo then upgrading turbos would be cheaper. However, you would still have to count the $3500 up front cost since we start with a SC.

And if you really want to get picky, upgrading a blower is far cheaper, since we can just swap pulleys to get more boost. ;-)

If you want to upgrade blowers sheek is about 30 minutes from you but i know for sure hes cheaper than a turbo.
