why does it pop at 6800 rpms when someone drops below a 2.8?

magic fucking dildo's in the ass? not so much.

if 310hp is the limit. why is it the turbo kids are well over this? why is it mine has not taken a shit?

i got it. NO one has a good answer because you fall into the "omg numba 4 gon boom!"

i don't consider a 2.7 a huge pulley. i have done over 280 on multiple dynos here in town

turbo = lower bsfc then an overspun blower

you can't deny this. if the blower car vs the turbo car make 300 hp both ways. it's not going to change anything.

hence why this "rated" hp is crap.

Higher BSFC means higher cylinder pressures and more fuel because of worse efficiency to obtain the same horsepower.

An overspun Eaton probably has a .70 BSFC or more compared to a turbo eco around .55-.60. (We had Dan's holset figured to a perfect .58 BSFC with 93 octane)

so the initial shock from the eaton raises cylinder pressures beyond turbos that are putting out way more cfm? i cant even begin to wonder y anyone would want to stay supercharged

A properly sized supercharger will actually have a slightly lower BSFC than a similar sized turbo.

This is where the TVS comes into play...hopefully.
